In Scandinavian countries Saturday is called: Lördag or Laurdag. The name of this day spring from bath. Lördag is bath-day. This mean Vikings practised the bath (and wash) in Saturday.Saturday has two names in german speaking country:- Samstag in Austria, Liechtenstein, german speaking part of Switzerland, southern and western Germany
- Sonnabend in northern and western part of Germany
In hungarian language the word, szombat (Saturday) spring from hebrew "sabbath" or from slavic word, "sobota".
